Latarka provides lighting & production design, console operation, equipment supply, and technical integrations to a wide range of clients.

Based in Sydney, Australia, we work across nearly every event sector, and our team is highly experienced in delivering innovative lighting solutions for touring artists, schools, musicals, nightlife events, corporate launches, weddings, permanent light installations, and experiential events. When comprehensive AV systems are required, we provide clients not only with lighting, but also with audio, video, staging, and theming. We ensure that every one of these technical disciplines is considered with the others in mind, and deliver a truly cohesive end-product for our clients.

Latarka works with a number of other AV companies on a friendly B2B basis. In the role of a subcontractor, our team often executes the lighting component of a project for suppliers who do not have the appropriate equipment or expertise to do so in-house. We have thousands of hours of onsite experience, and our modern Vectorworks-based previsualization suite allows us to plan and present complex lighting information effectively to stakeholders.

Latarka is perfectly positioned to help you at any stage of the production process; our pre-production paperwork is as bulletproof as our physical delivery.

Latarka is directed by Victor Mrowka, a passionate Production Lighting Designer and Business Manager. Graduating from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Laws majoring in Media and Technology, Victor has worked broadly across the Production Lighting Industry as a Systems Technician, Console Operator, and Project Lead. His high-level attention to detail and impeccable work ethic means that the projects Latarka undertakes are looked after diligently, holistically, and with a personal touch that larger companies cannot afford to provide.

Latarka enjoys a lightweight corporate structure and functions without bulky overheads, labour inefficiencies or frustrating bureaucracy. Moreover, while clients are sure to see many familiar faces from project to project, our junior staff and crew are all contracted on an only-as-needed basis. These factors ensure that Latarka delivers an affordable service that does not compromise on quality.

Latarka has been verified as a triple star, 100% Australian-owned business; we conduct our services in Australia and pay Australian taxes, supporting our national community as we do so.

Latarka  distributes  DMXking.

Latarka is the Australian Distributor of DMXking. Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, DMXking products allow users to reliably protocol convert, merge, store, playback, trigger, and distribute lighting control data. DMX, Art-Net, sACN, RDM, and a plethora of highly specific LED pixel protocols are supported by the range, meaning that DMXking can deliver control information to where it needs to be, in the language it needs to be delivered in.
