The Sound of Music tells the uplifting true story of Maria, a fun-loving governess, who changes the lives of the widowed Captain von Trapp and his seven children by re-introducing them to music. It culminates in the family’s escape across the mountains from Austria and the Nazi regime.
The Hills Musical Theatre Company hosted a fantastic two-week season of the musical with many sold-out performances. Latarka provided lighting design, operation, rigging, and equipment hire for this three-week community theatre season. Our team thoroughly enjoyed working with both the HMTC committee and cast, and we look forward to doing so again in 2023 for their upcoming season of Peter Pan.
