A large and annual school event, the St Spyridon School Showcase brings together the K-12 year groups into two spectacular evenings of song, dance, music, reenactments and Greek theatre. Among the pictured is Kindergarten’s fascination with starfish, penguins and the underwater world; Year 2’s ultra-cute rendition of Roald Dahl’s most well-known novels, short stories, and poems; a poignant performance from Year 6 which explored the concept of heroes; Year 10 drama’s theatrical piece ‘The Yellow Gloves’; and a smattering of drama and musical HSC-assessment pieces.
Our team has had the privilege of providing lighting design, operation, rigging and equipment hire for this event since its inception. It has been extremely rewarding to watch these young performers develop their talents from year to year, and we look forward to seeing what they come up with next!
